Can I override CPS?
Customers are able to use any other provider with whom they have arranged services (including BT) by dialing extra digits before the phone number they want to call. For example, you could use LowerCall for most international calls, but use another provider just for calls to a particular country.
If you manually dial 1664 after CPS has been activated, your call will still get through. This means that there is no need to reprogram your telephone or switchboard after CPS has been activated.
The override code for routing a call via BT is 1280.
